Howard Hunter, Principal, and wife Wendy established Scotts Head Newsagency in 1985 and Scotts Head Real Estate in September 1995. In December 2007 to enable us to better serve our real estate customers, the newsagency was closed. In May 2015 their daughter Annette became a member of the real estate team which is proudly a family local business. We focus on providing quality real estate services to Scotts Head and throughout the Nambucca Valley.
We provide specialist real estate and property management services with in Nambucca Valley and surrounding areas. These areas include Scotts Head, Stuarts Point, Macksville, Allgomera, Bowraville, Eungai Creek, Eungai Rail, Fishermans Reach, Grassy Head, Gumma, Talarm, Utungun, Valla, Valla Beach, Warrell Creek, Way Way and Yarrahappinni.
Scotts Head village features a friendly grocer supermarket (7 days a week), butcher shop, bakery, bottle shop, restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, pharmacy, real estate, gift shop, bowling club, and surf club.
Surrounding areas of Middle Head, Grassy Head, Yarrahappinni, Eungai Rail, Eungai Creek, Allgomera, Warrell Creek and Way Way are more rural in nature. Local general stores are available in the villages of Eungai Rail and Eungai Creek and both provide Post Office services. The general store at Eungai Rail includes a bottle shop. Eungai Creek has primary school and preschool facilities.
With the new freeway, access to the major centres is less than an hour away. From the Scotts Head turn-off it is only 55 minutes to Port Macquarie and just 35 minutes to Coffs Harbour airport, where you can fly direct to either Sydney or Brisbane within an hour.
